CMOP-E considers occupational performance in three areas of daily function, namely self-care, leisure and productivity [10]. These three occupational performance areas are supported by several performance components, namely affective, physical and cognitive components and influenced by many environmental factors such as social, cultural, institutional and physical environments [10]. Both the CMOP and CMOP-E are client-centred models for use in occupational therapy intervention with people with all types of health impairment across the lifespan. They look at each individual person’s cognitive, affective and physical abilities within the context of the person’s environment. The Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement (CMOP-E) is an occupational performance model, which is evolved from the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance (CMOP). The CMOP-E includes three main components: person, environment, and occupation. In this model, the inner part represents “Person”, and its center is the spirituality of a person.
